Mending of Mothers Partners with Volunteers of America Northern California & Northern Nevada for a Year-long Program for Unhoused Women

The program educates 30+ mothers & women, weekly, on fostering positive environments for their families, developing healthy habits, and equipping them with the tools and skills needed to secure employment and housing.

Garden Therapy

Through the Garden Therapy program, families from local housing developments, acquire gardening skills, improve their food security, and develop healthy habits to sustain them.

Financial Literacy

The Financial Literacy Program partners with local banks & credit unions to provide participants with  financial advice from setting SMART financial goals, debt-payment plans, and establishing wealthy habits.

Art Therapy

Through our partnership with the Crocker Art Museum, every 2nd Saturday, women of all ages enjoy a 30-minute tour followed by intergenerational conversation in our sister circle.
